I currently am involved in or do everything. I am not opposed to being involved in any or all of this; however, in the interest of using time and energy to further the foundation I need others to grab a set of the reigns, or at least help to steer while I am occupied by other things.

To improve the lives of traumatic brain injury survivors and their support system by offering emotional support as the foundation of our tools to build and grow cognition, fueled by the knowledge and experience earned through personal TBI recovery
The LightSwitch Foundation has been formed to acknowledge a growing need for guidance after an accident for a Traumatic Brain Injury(TBI), or a trauma, survivor in a state of post concussive syndrome or major brain trauma. The position of the foundation is important in many ways, for many reasons; however, the founder was driven by the acknowledgement that there remains a long bumpy path following a release from the hospital... If the survivor even went to the hospital. The doctors do an amazing job of making the air go in and out and the blood go round and round. However, helping a survivor repair and regrow their brain is not generally in the attending physician's job description. This is where the Light Switch comes in. The mental state of a Brain Injury survivor is always different and is inexplicable, to a certain end, to someone who has not experienced it themselves. But the brain is an amazing thing. When provided the correct fuels, the human brain can change and grow itself. Our brains are very generally capable of returning to a functional state after a major TBI as long as we can keep the blood flowing, provide effective fuel, and the social/mental/learning environment spreading positive energy and support. We need to organize our foundation. There is a lot to be done. As a survivor, I have done/am doing everything I am capable of. Maybe more. For the rest we rely on volunteers or outsourcing.
We'll work with your schedule.
