Fruits of Charity Incorporated is seeking a Social Media Intern. This person will focus on the development and execution of our social media accounts.
POSITION-SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Experience in creating social media posts, monitoring and managing social media accounts
* Assist with overall social media strategy for each account
* Research audience preferences, current social media trends and ways to elevate social media accounts
* Provide engagement on all social media platforms
* In-depth understanding of each account’s brand voice
* Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to comments/questions
* Assist with administrative social media duties
SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* Bachelor’s Degree or currently studying Marketing, Communications or related field * Passion for all things social media related * Thorough knowledge of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn * Basic knowledge of graphic design * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite * Must be able to meet deadlines * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and maintain a fast-paced workflow * Works well with a team

Description
Fruits of Charity Incorporated was formed by a group on people committed to serving the needs of the disadvantaged. We started this organization after working with disabled adults and at risk youth in the community and we seek to work on filling the gaps in society. We currently run a literacy program and are actively involved in providing employment services to persons with disabilities. We seek to expand our program to educate youth on sexual abstinence and to promote healthy relationships. We are also working on developing relationships with veteran agencies to provide accessibility of services to disabled vets.
