The past year, in order to ensure the safest possible environment for our patients and staff, CHMC limited in-person visits to our patients. As guidelines and safety permit, we are broadening our visitation policy. There will still be limitations in place requiring us to screen and escort all permitted visitors to the appropriate area. If you have some time to share, and enjoy interacting with the public, we would appreciate your help in safely enabling us to allow healing visitation for our patients. Your role will be to verify via telephone, with nursing units, the appropriateness of specific visits, while staff screen visitor health and temperature. following approval, you will escort visitors to the appropriate, approved area of the hospital.
Surgical grade masks will be provided for each shift.
