Here are some of the ways you can volunteer:

  • Coach or Assistant Coach (certification required by Special Olympics)
  • Set-up & breakdown of training practices; track scoring; assist in the lanes
  • Assist with COVID-19 screening questions and logs

Volunteer Oath

I promise to give of the time in my life, so that Special Olympics athletes can have the time of their lives. I promise to support Special Olympics not just as an expression of charity, but as a form of respect for my fellow human beings. I promise to spread the word of volunteerism because in giving, I receive so much more in return.

Volunteer registration required and we adhere to COVID-19 screening and safety protocols.

Description

The ultimate objective of Special Olympics Florida is to help people with intellectual disabilities participate as productive and respected members of society at large, by offering them a fair opportunity to develop and demonstrate their skills and talents through sports training and competition, and by increasing the public’s awareness of their capabilities and needs.
