ORGANIZATION: OCSP Cat Rescue

The cat adoption center at Petco in Westminster needs volunteers in the morning to do cleaning and socializing with our adoptable cats.
It's a 2-hour max commitment every week for a minimum of 6 months. Cleaning consists of scooping litter boxes and sweeping out the cat habitats. Also washing food and water bowls and replacing with clean food and water. Communication with the kennel manager is key to make sure supplies are kept stocked and bedding is washed in a timely manner. We definitely want our volunteers to play with the cats and toys are provided. There are several cat trees for the cats to run around on while you're cleaning and then you can entertain them when cleaning is done as well. Happy cats get adopted faster so you may see a lot of cats come and go during your volunteer time!
Each cat has an online adoption profile and we love to use volunteer pictures to make their profiles pop!
You will be trained so there will be no guesswork involved.
If you are dependable and love cats we sure could use your help.

  • morning / 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM
    Cleaning time should take no more than 45 minutes
