About us:
SIREN Women's Cooperative is a group of work-minded women, of all ages, stages, and backgrounds, who meet regularly to build knowledge, connection, and inspiration among one another through our myriad activities.
SIREN activities include our SIREN Signature Talk series, relationship-based networking opportunities, social meet-ups, and our Ready to Work Exchange where we mentor women in need to develop job search and interview skills.Volunteer Description:
We are seeking a volunteer to record and edit approximately 13 5-10 minute long modules that demonstrate how to perform what we call "The Mom Job." The Mom Job training we are developing teaches nannies, babysitters, and in-home caregivers the specific tasks and social-emotional skills typically implemented by moms. This initial video project will be a prototype or beta model for further testing of the idea.
Volunteer Qualifications:
Experience with video editing software (i.e., iMovie, Adobe Premiere Pro, etc.)

Description
Since our pivot in 2009 from a chapter of the global network "Social Venture Partners", our mission has been to incubate and support social enterprise while simultaneously fostering a nurturing social impact ecosystem. In 2015, SEG’s relocation to our co-working space at 10 Davol Square, The SEG Hub, transformed the organization into the state’s leading neutral convener in the social sector. In 2016, the decision to offer programs targeting specific industries such as Food and Health & Wellness led to a significant increase in volunteers, mentors, corporate sponsors and strategic partnerships.
Today, SEG offers a robust menu of services that provide social entrepreneurs with the services they need throughout their lifecycle. We have become a trusted convener and technical assistance provider for organizations and businesses working to achieve both economic and community impact.
