Are you passionate about hospice care, the aging community, and would love to make a difference by providing quality care for patients and support for their families?
Join Divine Light Hospice, where we provide "Quality Care for Quality Life."
We are looking for dedicated volunteers to join our Divine Light family! The Direct Patient Volunteer position is a role trained to provide in-person respite care for patient caregivers and companionship for our terminally ill patients. Visits can vary from simply chatting and storytelling, reading aloud, playing games, or celebrating their birthday. There are so many ways to make a big impact on their lives.
This position is a great flexible schedule position for anyone who is looking to work with these communities. No prior experience is necessary, just a desire to help someone in need. We provide training to ensure that you are comfortable and ready to assist those in need. All volunteers are provided with PPE to ensure safety for both the patient and the volunteer.
