Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Bristol Hospice - Denver

  • 3 people are interested

Bristol Hospice is seeking veterans to provide companionship to fellow veterans, as well as participate in honoring our veterans through pinning ceremonies to recognize their service to our country. Veteran volunteers can relate to the stories told, share their own experiences, and empathize with our veteran patients in a unique way. Veteran volunteers can also assist with presenting certificates of appreciation on behalf of our hospice care team and say a few words to honor their service.

Our patients are located throughout the Denver metro area at various care communities and in private homes. Our hospice requires a year-long commitment, offering a minimum of 4 hours of your time per month. Our onboarding process includes comprehensive hospice education and training. Consider joining our team of compassionate volunteers making a difference in the lives of our veteran patients!

Bristol Hospice is partnered with We Honor Veterans, a national program of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).
