One the first Tuesday of the month, we host a drive-thru pantry in our parking lot! Clients drive into our parking lot and remain in their cars as volunteers load their vehicles with items like fresh produce, milk, bread, meat and shelf stable foods. We need volunteers to help sign families up and load food items into their vehicles.
We advise all volunteers to dress for the weather, as our drive-thru pantry is outside. This is a great volunteer opportunity for an individual, family, service group, or club!

South Michigan Food Bank is one of seven food banks in the state of Michigan, serving 8 counties (Barry, Branch, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson, Kalamazoo, Lenawee and St. Joseph) In 2021, we distributed 13.8 million pounds of food in our eight counties! We do this by partnering with 335 agencies like food pantries, food distribution sites, soup kitchens, schools and youth programs to supply food to communities.

- We ask volunteers to be here for set up starting at 2:30pm. The distribution is from 3pm-5pm.
- Please dress for the weather as this is an outdoor event. For health and safety reasons, masks must be worn inside the building.
