We are looking for volunteers to hold online donation drives to collect new items for use in our shelters. We have Amazon and Target Wish Lists with items that we are in need of. This is a Covid-19 safe volunteering opportunity as everything can be done online. What this volunteer opportunity entails:
1. Email Samantha Smith at ssmith@healinghomelessness regarding your interest in holding an online donation drive.
2. Discuss and decide with CCH what item(s) you will be holding the drive for.
3. You will be given a Wish List link that you can share with family, friends, on social media, or with your group members.
4. With the shared link, people can purchase items and they will be shipped directly to our office.
We have multiple wish lists (Kitchen Item Wish List, Kid's Bedding Wish List, Bathroom Item Wish List, etc. ). When holding the drive you can choose a particular wish list or even a specific item on the wish list that you would like to focus on. When you email Samantha, she can help you figure this part out.
By helping hold an online donation drive, you are helping us get much-needed supplies for our shelters that serve homeless women and children.

Mission Statement
Colette's Children's Home's (CCH) mission is to provide homeless single women and homeless mothers with children a safe home and nurturing environment where they obtain compassionate support and services needed to achieve self-sufficiency.
Description
CCH is a nonprofit organization based in Huntington Beach, CA that has provided housing and supportive services to over 5,000 homeless women and children over the past 21 years.
Our core housing programs include our Emergency Shelter Program, our Transitional Housing Program, our Permanent Housing Placement Program, and our Permanent Affordable Housing Program.
CCH understands the complicated factors that can lead to poverty and homelessness and we work to help women overcome these conditions so that they can find and sustain affordable, permanent housing. Therefore, in addition to shelter, we offer an entire wraparound of services, which target both women and their children, providing skills and knowledge to overcome the factors that can lead to homelessness.
