Join us for a week of exciting and educational events showcasing the artists, designers, musicians, filmmakers, authors, fashion and beauty changemakers who are lighting up our screens and airwaves to shift our consciousness and conversations for good.
We are looking for volunteers that want to sit on our newly-formed Education Committee. The purpose of this committee is to create relevant content for the public. We want to build awareness about the realities of human trafficking and boost our public legitimacy. You will be asked to produce articles (blogs) and information presentations on various topics related to human trafficking. Of course, you can choose to focus on topics that interest you, but generally, we want to educate the public on the prevalence of human trafficking and what we can do to prevent it.
This is a virtual opportunity, and we encourage people from anywhere within the United States to join. Also, we are looking for some Spanish speakers to participate. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to improve their research, writing, and presentation skills while making a great contribution to the public good. Also, for people that want to go into social work or are hoping to do case management. Please visit our website for more information, https://www.centralcoastfreedomnetwork.org/education-committee, or contact our Executive Director directly email@example.com.
Mobilize the community to counter human trafficking.
We provide case management services to survivors of human trafficking. In accordance with the requirements specified in California Evidence Code 1038.2 (b), we offer a 40-hour Human Trafficking Advocate Training. Completion of this course will prepare you to work with survivors of human trafficking. However, you must be working for a qualified agency to claim the Human Trafficking Case Worker privilege. CCFN is a qualified agency and we require all of our case managers to take our training. In addition, we build public awareness about human trafficking through various educational opportunities.
