Health and Wellness Content Creators Description: Guiding The Wise, a Florida-based non-profit that offers one stop shop for free and subsidized digital wellness options to underserved communities. The Happy Health division, which focuses on promoting health education wellness reminders to the community, is currently looking for passionate writers who will assist in the development of health and wellness content for our blog platform. This is a virtual, unpaid position.
Content Creators Responsibilities: -Research Health and Wellness content that is relevant to our mission -Prepare 1-2 blog articles per month (your work will be credited under your name) -Report to the Operations Program Manager for article review and submission -Assist in marketing blog articles throughout our social media platforms -Attend monthly virtual team meetings How to apply: -Submit an email to happyhealth@guidingthewise.org with the subject line titled BLOG SUBMISSION. Provide your contact information and attach one written article (any topic) OR attach your portfolio of written (published or free-lanced) articles.
Ideal Candidates: -Students pursuing a degree in health psychology, social-work, public health, or related to health studies -Individuals working in the field of healthcare -Experienced writers with published online or printed content

Guiding The Wise is a public health based non profit organization that offers a subsidized digital wellness platform that connects consumers to affordable health and fitness options. Our primary focus is to provide affordable tailored and customizable preventative care for persons of all fitness levels. Our wellness program promotes healthy behaviors by using upbeat, fun, interactive and integrative approaches. This medical and healthcare professional led program, was designed to provide services that can contribute to the reduction of obesity, nutrition based diseases, high blood pressure and cardiac issues while also focusing on building self esteem and other wellness areas that the client would like to focus on.
