Center for Key Population Volunteer Description
The Community Health Center seeks to recruit volunteers for the position of "CKP Support Volunteer". These volunteers will assist the Center for Key Populations by preparing materials for outreach events and providing various support roles for those events. Sample materials include safe sex kits, donation bags, etc. Sample events include vaccine clinics, migrant farm clinics, homeless outreach, HIV PrEP outreach, and healthy families activity bags drop off. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity and cannot be used for school/university credit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (Included but not limited to)
- Organizing donations; counting inventory; assembling outreach materials
- Delivering materials to CHC sites and patients
- Help with set-up and breakdown of outreach events
- Providing outreach materials to event attendees
- Communication with community members (outreach phone calls)
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 18 years old
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service skills and genuine desire to help people
- Ability to get to the assigned site on time on a consistent basis
- Ability to lift and carry up to twenty (20) lbs

Description
Community Health Center, Inc. (CHC) with offices in Connecticut, Colorado and California, is one of the country's most creative and dynamic providers of primary medical, dental, and behavioral health services, and a leader in practice-based research, health professionals training, and use of innovative technologies to advance health and healthcare.
