Help Can't Wait!

Each day, people are forced from their homes due to fires, storms, and other disasters. Join the American Red Cross team that responds to more than 60,000 emergencies every year - the vast majority of which are home fires. Our volunteers help families with their immediate needs, ensuring they don’t face tough times alone. If you are team-oriented and want to make a difference, please consider joining a local Disaster Action Team. With experience, we may also ask you to help on larger national disasters. All travel & lodging costs covered. No prior experience required, just bring your desire to help. We’ll supply all the training... plus you’ll meet new friends along the way.

Email Ned.Bloom@redcross.org for details.

P.S. This is where I started myself over 12 years ago and still considerate among the best decisions I ever made. Happy to share my story if you are interested. Thank you.
