AsylumConnect is looking for web developer volunteers to join their remote tech team and develop their flagship product, the AsylumConnect Catalog, the world’s first tech resource platform to aid people fleeing persecution due to sexual orientation or gender identity.

Responsibilities include contributing to the Catalog’s web and mobile development, collaborating with the volunteer UX designers to develop and deploy new features, writing code to maintain server-side logic, managing the application database, and more. Time commitment is 10-15 hours per week.

Volunteers must have 2+ years of experience with web and/or mobile app development and strong understanding of tech stack (JavaScript, React, Heroku, MongoDB, Express.js/Node), and must be able to work both independently and in teams.
