BGC Portland is seeking skilled volunteers who feel comfortable teaching coding skills to a team of youth. Teams are meeting on Fridays beginning in March and going through June. The goal for each team is to both teach computer skills as well as teamwork. Our youth have fun learning important skills that will encourage them to further explore STEM opportunities. Coaches must be available every Friday, and capable of also planning with Staff coaches in Club. Though this year coaching will be virtual this is still a great way to engage and build healthy, mentorship relationships with youth.
