When you join South Coast Literacy Council (SCLC) you will be able to teach ESL for adults virtually either one to one or with small groups.

Tutors are trained online by South Coast Literacy Council.

When Covid19 recedes and our many centers open in South Orange County, tutors will may return to teaching face to face or choose to continue online. You will have choices for when and where to teach.

SCLC has been around for 50 plus years, and many tutors have been members 5, 10, 25, 30 years and longer.
This is a fun volunteer opportunity!

Tutors give students the ability to speak English in their daily lives.

SOUTH COAST LITERACY COUNCIL IS Currently recruiting Volunteers for In-Perso and Virtual classrooms. Computer skills and access to a password protected email is required. For further volunteer details logon to southcoastliteracy.org

South Coast Literacy Council (SCLC) celebrates 53 years of community service. SCLC provides free classes to adults learning English as a Second Language (ESL) from pre-literacy to advanced skill levels. Tutoring is provided in safe small-group environments at various locations throughout south Orange County, CA. Free training is provided to prospective tutors.

South Coast Literacy Council is a member of ProLiteracy.
