We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who want to sit on our board of directors. We are in the process of restructuring, and we are expanding our board to improve our capacity and service delivery. We are recruiting for the following positions: Treasurer, Board Chair, Director of Development and Events, Director of Marketing and Research, Director of Community Outreach, and Director of Programs. You can fulfill most of these positions remotely.
We are looking for a wide range of skill levels and talent. You do not need prior board experience. This is a great opportunity for anyone that wants to build up their leadership skills or someone that wants to lend their expertise to a great cause.

Mission Statement
Mobilize the community to counter human trafficking.
Description
We provide case management services to survivors of human trafficking. In accordance with the requirements specified in California Evidence Code 1038.2 (b), we offer a 40-hour Human Trafficking Advocate Training. Completion of this course will prepare you to work with survivors of human trafficking. However, you must be working for a qualified agency to claim the Human Trafficking Case Worker privilege. CCFN is a qualified agency and we require all of our case managers to take our training. In addition, we build public awareness about human trafficking through various educational opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

- Depending on the board position that you are interested in, your monthly time commitment may vary. We estimate 5-7 hours per month. Board meetings are held on the 4th Monday of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.
- You will need to attend a half-day Human Trafficking 101 Training on Saturday virtually, April 10th, from 8:30 am - 1:00 pm.
