We are passionate volunteer leaders who make up a nationwide network of action groups - or "affiliates". Through work in our local community, we help drive the vision of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network to double pancreatic cancer survival.

LEAD THE COMMUNITY: Our passionate volunteer leaders grow our movement and keep our community organized, united and thriving through local meetings, events and activities.
RAISE FUNDS: We generate critical support for the fight to end pancreatic cancer through PurpleStride, Wage Hope My Way do-it-yourself fundraisers, donor and corporate connections - and more.
SPREAD AWARENESS: Our volunteers raise awareness through our PurpleStride run/walk, November awareness efforts, outreach to local healthcare professionals, building connections in our local community and more!
ADVOCATE FOR RESEARCH: We build relationships with our local elected officials and raise awareness in our nation’s capital to keep lifesaving cancer research funding flowing to brilliant researchers.

Description
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is the only national organization creating hope in a comprehensive way through research, patient support, community outreach and advocacy for a cure. The organization raises money for direct private funding of research--and advocates for more aggressive federal research funding of medical breakthroughs in prevention, diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer.
The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network fills the void of information and options by giving patients and caregivers reliable, personalized information they need to make informed decisions. We create a sense of hope and community so no one has to face pancreatic cancer alone. The organization helps support individuals and communities all across the country work together to raise awareness and funds to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.
