Due to Covid-19 and lack of access to school and library resources, residents of Chicago Avenue apartments are having difficulties with addressing technology needs, information, and skills training to improve computer knowledge. Chicago Avenue apartment offers affordable homes to families and single adults making lower incomes. Most families are also Somali speakers. We recently received a small grant that enabled the building to secure four computers and a printer. We would like to offer one-on-one support to residents in need of basic computer training. Aeon follows all safety protocols, masks, sanitisers provided, and extra cleaning after each computer usage.
