Are you looking to make a difference in your community by providing extra support to patients and families? If so, Bridgeway/Affinity Hospice has great volunteer opportunities for you.
Affinity Hospice in Rome is looking for volunteers to serve our patients. Volunteers are the extra support that patients and families need during their end-of-life journey. Volunteers provide a variety of services to our patients, but the main ways that volunteers help are with administrative work and patient visits.
During patient visits volunteers are able to perform a variety of tasks. Although volunteers are unable to provide direct medical care; they are able to read to the patient, watch movies with the patient, assist with light household chores, musical therapy, pet therapy, and so much more. Volunteering with Bridgeway is flexible, rewarding and life-changing. Volunteers must be 18 years of age and willing to complete other onboarding requirements as well.
