Are you looking for a flexible, independent volunteer opportunity that will get you outside? We have just the thing. Report your findings at select Great River Greening restoration sites featured on iNaturalist. No experience or previous education is needed. iNaturalist is a free, community science-based platform that will help you identify plants and critters you spot in the wild. Simply snap close-up photos and upload them to iNaturalist right from your phone or computer. Your observations will help our team of ecologists monitor restoration progress and have much-needed added data.
Current observation sites include portions of Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Sunktokeca Creek WMA, and Big Woods Heritage Forest WMA - with more to come soon!
