HomeAgain is a grassroots, membership-driven community made up of virtual tour guides and travelers who regularly connect with one another to build friendships and promote positive human connection. Our platform empowers its members to start a healthy habit by expanding their social community, learning new things, and offering their time and companionship to someone else. A series of shared virtual experiences, including travel destinations, museums, and wildlife, serve as icebreakers for conversation. Overall, we are a new kind of social platform that puts the focus back where it belongs: on the people.

Some of our members are exclusively travelers who help support our growing community through membership fees and merely showing up and being themselves. However, volunteers are critical to our program as they ensure that it is accessible to everyone. Volunteers uphold the spirit and standards of our mission by doing each of the following activities:

• Commit to connect regularly and meaningfully with other volunteers and non-volunteer members of the community. Enter at least 4 hours of availability per week and we will schedule you to either give or take a tour with another member within your time range (how to do this will be explained in our on-boarding process).

• Train with our mentors to work with a wide range of people including those who may have unique challenges in overcoming barriers to connecting.

• Share the vision. Outreach to friends, family, organizations, or members of your community allows us to grow and reach more people.
