Encompass Health is looking for a hospice volunteer to provide patient related volunteer services to patients during their final months and weeks of their lives in the Ogden and surrounding areas. Volunteer provide non-medical respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what type of things you do. We welcome all volunteer but are specifically looking for those who can engage in out Paws for comfort program who has a therapy dog or those who will be able to provide specific skills such as those who are musically included.

Description
Enhabit Health is looking for a in home volunteer to provide emotional and physical support to patients during their final months and weeks of life. Volunteers provide non-medical services and respite time for caregivers and family members. As a hospice volunteer, you will be given choices as to how much and what types of things you want to do.
A few ways you can help as a hospice volunteer is by providing companionship and care to the patient and families on hospice. Other ways to help can be doing administrative tasks, crafts, doing tuck in calls with patients each week. Come share your experiences and hobbies! We are looking for music therapy, veterans, pet therapy, and end of life volunteers at this critical time of their lives.
