We are looking for volunteer Docents to facilitate tours of the historic Howard Steamboat Museum. The ideal candidate will be a people person who loves to share our fascinating story with people from all over the world. The shift will be one day a week (Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday, your choice of day) from 10:00am until 4:00pm. Some days will be less hours. You will be given training to know our story and understand our requirements. When we do not have tours on campus, the museum and it's extensive libraries are yours to use and peruse. From time to time we have special events on campus and you may be asked if you are available to help out for them. This will not be required of the position.
If you love being around people (safely and with social distancing and masking requirements enforced) and enjoy sharing a great story, we want to meet you!
No additional volunteer opportunities at this time.
