The Latino Community Center has been working hard to ensure that our students have access to the help they need to succeed academically. Our Online Tutoring Program helps match students in grades K through college with available tutors depending on need, language, availability, and specific skills. Tutors are matched on a need by need basis with students who need their support. Hours are flexible and schedules are set by tutor and student. This opportunity is on going and requires that volunteers over the age of 18 present the PA Criminal Background Check, the PA Child Abuse Clearance, and the FBI Fingerprint Clearance. Tutors bilingual in English and Spanish are encouraged to volunteer, but we accept non-Spanish speaking volunteers as well. No experience required, only the desire to help kids during this complicated time.
