Volunteer Documentation Standards Assistant
ROCKBlue has an immediate opening for a volunteer Documentation Standards Assistant. This person will be working remotely with an international team that focuses on providing water and sanitation to their partners in the developing world.
This is an exciting entry-level position to a) gain experience in international development, b) gain experience and have a positive impact with an international charitable organization, c) interact with senior water and sanitation experts, and d) grow one’s computer skills. The main objective of this position is to ensure consistency and quality of our professionals’ resumes/CV’s. Specifically, taking existing resumes and formatting them to ROCKBlue’s standard resume format - similar to the World Bank format.
This is a part-time position. The assignment is anticipated to last 4 months and can continue into the future on an as needed basis. This position may also require the use of management software tools such as Trello, Clockify, Slack, G-Suite, and Google Drive. Hence, the candidate will likely grow their knowledge in a wider range of computer applications. The terms of reference for this position includes:
- Format existing resumes to match ROCKBlue (World Bank) format
- Engaging with professionals to obtain their acceptance of reformatted resumes
- Properly storing of formatted resumes in ROCKBlue’s Google Drive
Qualifications * Native English speaker with strong English writing skills * Access to a computer, Internet and a Gmail email address * Google Docs experience (similar to MS Word) is preferred but not mandatory * Ability to work independently and be self-motivated * Attention to detail * Minimum 4 hrs/week of availability
