The POWAN Initiative is looking for dedicated tutors to join our growing team. We are a nonprofit that provides free virtual tutoring/mentoring to K-12 students all around the world. We can provide letters of rec and volunteer hour certifications. This position is a great way to gain experience working with K-12 students and to sharpen your communication skills. Established in June 2020, the Power of Words and Numbers (POWAN) Initiative's main goal is to help students turn their academic dreams into a reality! We hope to help families everywhere overcome financial obstacles, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you want to gain access to FREE, high-quality virtual tutoring, you've arrived to the perfect place. Our team of academic excellent tutors are chosen through a rigorous process and are from Stanford, Cornell, UCLA, UCSD, UCR, UCD, UCI, Georgia Tech, and University of Florida, to name a few.
