ORGANIZATION: I'RAISE Girls & Boys International Corporation

We are looking professionals who can offer a Job Readiness Course for our high school students who will be graduating from our Generation-Z Program.

Duties:

  • Conduct virtual classes for a group of high school students once a week from April 1st to May 1st.
  • Teach high school students the fundamentals of resume & cover letter writing, interview skills, and how to put together a strong portfolio.
  • Must draft a full curriculum that outlines all lessons from week-to-week and materials needed for the class.
  • Suggest self learning/training platform to students for their Job readiness needs.
  • Complete weekly session notes following each class
  • Maintain consistent communication with the supervisor via email and participation in scheduled facilitator meetings to update on student progress, class attendance, etc.
Qualifications:
  • Prior experience as Job Readiness coach or relative position
  • Patience to work with teen students preferred
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Prior experience in working at school setting is a plus
  • Must be 21+ years old

Location: Remote

Time: 5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) between the hours of 2 pm and 6pm EST.

I’RAISE Boys & Girls International Corporation is a tax-exempt nonprofit organization in New York City founded in 2012. We have been providing free tutoring, mentoring and coaching services, virtual performance classes, college preparation program, nutrition workshops, and parent education program. As a minority led non-profit organization with leaders that are women of colors, we feel so much pride and we are so proud being able to provide beneficial resources to the children in under-resourced areas in New York City in-person and multiple-states virtually. And we have been successful in providing these services because of our volunteers.
