We are looking professionals who can offer a Job Readiness Course for our high school students who will be graduating from our Generation-Z Program.
Duties:
- Conduct virtual classes for a group of high school students once a week from April 1st to May 1st.
- Teach high school students the fundamentals of resume & cover letter writing, interview skills, and how to put together a strong portfolio.
- Must draft a full curriculum that outlines all lessons from week-to-week and materials needed for the class.
- Suggest self learning/training platform to students for their Job readiness needs.
- Complete weekly session notes following each class
- Maintain consistent communication with the supervisor via email and participation in scheduled facilitator meetings to update on student progress, class attendance, etc.
- Prior experience as Job Readiness coach or relative position
- Patience to work with teen students preferred
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
- Prior experience in working at school setting is a plus
- Must be 21+ years old
Location: Remote
Time: 5 hours per week (Monday - Friday) between the hours of 2 pm and 6pm EST.

We have been providing free tutoring, mentoring and coaching services, virtual performance classes, college preparation program, nutrition workshops, and parent education program. As a minority led non-profit organization with leaders that are women of colors, we feel so much pride and we are so proud being able to provide beneficial resources to the children in under-resourced areas in New York City in-person and multiple-states virtually. And we have been successful in providing these services because of our volunteers.
