Join us for one of our upcoming information sessions to learn everything about becoming a tutor with Literacy Volunteers of Methuen. We will host these in person, at the Nevins Memorial Library, on the following dates. If you would prefer to attend via Zoom, please email literacy @ nevinslibrary .org to receive the link.

Are you looking for a unique, meaningful way to make a positive difference in your community? Literacy Volunteers of Methuen offers free, one-on-one, flexible, student-centered literacy tutoring for adult learners of English, provided by our wonderful volunteer tutors. You'll make a great tutor if you...

- have some extra time
- like to connect with others
- love to learn about new cultures
- are over 18
- have a high school diploma or equivalency
- speak English fluently
