About END NO SLEEP INC
Location:
126 N BRIGHTON ST APT C, BURBANK, CA 91506, US
Mission Statement
End No Sleep, Inc. is a youth-led (501)(c)(3) nonprofit committed to providing sleep resources to vulnerable communities through education, awareness, and direct service
Description
Through our programs and pillars we will distribute sleeping kits (pillows, blankets, sleep masks, mosquito nets) to shelters and community partners. We will host sleep workshop classes teaching information about the history and scientific origins of sleep, and progress to evidence-based tips for how to improve sleep, such as physical and mental exercises to help fall asleep and rules for lighting and use of technology before bed time. We hope to help people understand what sleep actually is and how it affects the brain.
Through our efforts in raising awareness on the importance of sleep, we will advocate for policies that help improve sleep, such as later school start times or truck driving policies that help professional drivers obtain enough sleep to function best on the road.
