Mission Statement

We teach workshops to students in the area on a broad range of topics relating to sustainability. Some workshop examples are: nutrition, composting, making a garden in a bottle, and organic gardening. We are an organization that aims to create a greener, better, and more sustainable planet.

TUGI is an international nonprofit and we have chapters around the planet. TUGI La Jolla is just starting up and looking for people to join leadership!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be at least 14
  • This is an ongoing project, and we want to try to host workshops every 1-2 months. The time commitment is probably a few hours per week, and little more when we have workshops
  • A love for gardening or sustainability! We are really looking for anybody, it's ok if you don't have much experience:)
