During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
PVI Rosener House is an adult day center in Menlo Park, California that provides a safe environment for adults with challenges such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, post-stroke, and other physical or cognitive limitations. Prior to shelter in place, participants would visit the center for socialization, engage in recreational & therapeutic activities, and spend the day enjoying each other's company. The pandemic may have changed our in-person service to a virtual experience, but we still strive to provide a fun and engaging place for older adults to connect, even more so during these more isolating times.
Create educational or activity-based videos to add to our collection of pre-recorded videos for Rosener House at Home. We’re looking for fun activities such as trivia, history of a city or movement, art, garden tours, travel, story-telling. Videos with photos and music work really well.
The video will be published on our Rosener House at Home website at https://sites.google.com/view/pvirosenerhouseonline/home and may be accessed by anyone with the link.
