We are seeking a passionate and articulate individual to assist with managing the social media platforms of Inside Health Institute. Ideal candidates will be seeking a longer-term volunteer role, with strong communication and writing skills, an eye for content creation, and the ability to positively influence via social media. Experience in public relations, marketing, communications, or English/Journalism is plus! This is a great opportunity to expand your portfolio and assist with a great cause!

Responsibilities Include:

• Creating content for web and social media posts, including graphics, narratives, and hashtags
• Posting on social media platforms frequently, with content that aligns with IHI's mission
• Providing input on social media strategy
• Identifying additional opportunities to expand and promote the organization, both locally and online

Required Skills:

• Ability to produce high-quality social media posts required (exceptional grammar, clean and crisp graphics, etc.)
• Experience producing unique content for Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and/or LinkedIn required.
• Experience in business communications a plus.
• Familiarity or interest in community health and wellness is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, English/Journalism, or related field a plus.

Time Commitment Minimum:

Flexible, 2-4 hours per week. Applicants able to schedule the maximum hours/duration typically gain more in-depth experience.
