A Constellation Hospice volunteer is someone who wants to make a difference by helping to bring friendship, compassionate presence, and empathetic listening to patients and families. Our volunteers recognize that life is a gift that everyone deserves to maximize regardless of their circumstances. Constellation volunteers share their gifts of time and presence. We provide comprehensive training and orientation.

All volunteers are provided with PPE and practice all infection control precautions. All patients assigned are COVID negative, and most have received the vaccine and booster(s).

Description

Constellation Hospice is a special concept of care, focused on providing comfort, relieving pain and offering support to those with life-limiting health conditions and their families. Constellation Hospice addresses the physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs of the individual, while attending to the equally important needs of their family and caregivers. Our team of hospice professionals and volunteers work collaboratively with the patient, their family and primary care physician to create a customized care plan. We believe every person deserves to live out his or her life with respect, dignity and comfort in an environment that promotes quality of life. We educate on and practice all infection control measures, including COVID 19 and subsequent variants, as well as provide necessary PPE. We would love for you to join our team!
