Title: Board Member
We are seeking a volunteer to join SEAL (LSP) as a Volunteer Board Member.
About us:
Strategies Enrichment and Learning S.E.A.L. (LSP) is a nonprofit organization in New York.
We provide therapeutic services to children. Services are open to all children, but especially help
children who have ADHD and learning disabilities.
The Founder himself is a person with disabilities. We are seeking someone who is sensitive and passionate about helping adults and children with disabilities.
Roles:
- Attend all board meetings (1 per month)
- Assists Board Chairman with organizing, taking notes and meeting minutes, and structuring all board meetings
Volunteer hours:
10 hours total per month
6 months commitment
Qualifications:
-Someone with experience being a Board Member of a nonprofit organization or childrens program
-Has done volunteer work
Not required but preferred
-Some accounting or book keeping (small budget under $5,000)

If a Board Member would like to make a contribution to the organization that is welcome,
but not required to be a Board Member with us.
