SafeNest is recruiting volunteers between the ages of 18-24 to become camp counselors at Camp HOPE. Camp Counselors will mentor children who are experiencing domestic violence in a fun and interactive summer camp environment. Camp is in beautiful Utah. Transportation and meals are provided
Important dates:
Wednesday, June 30th 10 am -12 pm - Training
Thursday, July 1st 10 am -4pm - Training
Friday, July 2nd 10 am -4pm - Training
Saturday July 3rd 10 am -4pm - Training
All training dates must be attended.
Camp Hope is July 5th - 9th.

SafeNest's mission is to be the leading advocate in promoting the eradication of domestic violence by providing confidential assistance including shelter, food, clothing, counseling, education and other services to individuals experiencing domestic violence while maintaining the highest respect and dignity.
Description
SafeNest is a non-profit agency operated by Temporary Assistance for Domestic Crisis, Inc. (TADC), a tax-exempt corporation. SafeNest runs the only 24-hour emergency shelters in Las Vegas that operate with undisclosed locations for the safety of victims of domestic violence. Established in 1977, SafeNest is the oldest and largest domestic violence program in Southern Nevada assisting clients to start over in a violence-free life. SafeNest serves all of Greater Las Vegas, Mesquite and rural Clark County. Besides hotlines and shelter, Safe Nest also provides counseling services, staffed by Marriage and Family Therapists and licensed professionals, who offer individual and group counseling for victims, offenders, adolescents and children impacted by domestic violence. Other services include crisis response, advocacy, Protection Order assistance, dating violence prevention in schools and public education.
