Join Habitat for Humanity in helping us thank our donors!
Our donor support is at the heart of our organization. Funds from donors go towards giving families a hand up, not a hand out, towards the opportunity to transform their lives with the strength, stability, and sense of empowerment that comes with homeownership.
We need your help to further our mission by writing thank you letters to our generous donors. This position is perfect for someone who loves penmanship and has a flourish for the handwritten.
The position calls for 2-5 hours of service per week sometime in the latter half of the week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) within business hours (9-5) and volunteers would be based in our downtown Oakland office. In office you would be required to socially distance, wear a mask at all times and follow any of our other health and safety procedures. Prospective volunteers will be asked to submit a writing sample and do a short virtual interview. The position would also include other administrative task such as helping with mailers, copying, etc.
For more information please email volunteer@habitatebsv.org and include a resume or paragraph on your volunteer/work experience.
Thank you for supporting Affordable Housing solutions in the Bay Area!
