Camp Liberty needs volunteers! No horse experience? No problem! Training provided. Ideal for school volunteer hours, horse enthusiasts and those seeking to make a difference.

Volunteer duties include:

  • Prepare horses for lessons by grooming and tacking
  • Help clean and organize tack room and arena
  • Learn and use Western saddles
  • Work in the arena and on the trails as a either a side-walker or horse leader
  • Encourage our horses and riders before, during, and after lessons
  • Attend training sessions and other volunteer events
  • Grounds maintenance
  • Other help as needed.

About Us:

We assist military veterans and first responders with their personal journey towards healing by providing Therapeutic Horseback Riding and other Equine Assisted Activities free of charge.

Our EAA programs cultivate emotional awareness, empathy and trust by fostering relationships between participants and horses. Veterans learn to rebuild connections with communities, peers and loved ones.

We are committed to helping improve the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our veterans and first responders with the care, respect and dignity that they have earned.

Camp Liberty, Inc is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Charitable Organization.
