* Feed/water in measured amounts using diet instructions
* Clean enclosures which may include raking, weeding, and scrubbing
* Launder towels and bedding as needed; empty and wash/sanitize dishes
daily
* Learn to identify birds as individuals
* Assist director with care for rehabilitation birds
* Identify potential health issues in animals and ensure notes are provided to the director
* Provide assistance to other volunteers
* Work primarily around songbirds
* May Assist with intakes of new rehabilitation patients from the public and agency rescues
* Create enrichment toys and treats

09:00 AM to 10:00 PM
5 -2 hour shifts per day from 9am to 10/11pm. Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and some Saturdays

Wild Wings is an independently owned and operated wild bird rehabilitation organization in Oakland County MI. Wild Wings accepts songbirds, and pigeons. Babies and minor injuries only

- Orientation or Training
- • 1 shift per week from May to September • 2 cleaning projects (includes laundry and deep cleanings) • 1 special project (fundraising prep/art fair, intakes, clerical, special shifts)
- • Able to maintain professionalism in attitude and appearance • Attentive to detail • Able to meet the requirements • Able to learn and demonstrate a familiarity with WWBR programs • Able to understand WWBR policies
