Big Brothers Big Sisters needs dozens of adults to mentor kids of all ages from the community, providing them with an additional role model. The volunteer "Big" and youth "Little" meet together 2-4 times monthly for at least one year to spend quality one-on-one time with one another. Matches decide where they will meet and what they will do with guidance and ideas from BBBSU staff along the way.

Our mission is to improve lives and build strong communities by uniting individuals and organizations with the will, passion, expertise, and resources needed to solve problems.
To change the odds , we focus on advancing the education, income stability, and health of our neighborhoods and communities. These are the building blocks for a good life--a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Our goal is to create self-reliance by ensuring that every child succeeds, every step of the way, from cradle to career.
