Role Overview

  In this role, you will provide administrative and project management support to the CMO, while gathering and relaying information between with key members of marketing to ensure that each departmental team meets its goals and deadlines, and has the resources it needs to be successful.

Essential Functions

  • Organizing and managing day-to-day marketing tasks, while acting as gatekeeper of all departmental communications.   
  • Developing and continuously improving key systems and processes for increased efficiency within the Office of the CMO, including scheduling and time management, research and preparation of marketing and presentation materials, and drafting communications on behalf of the CMO.   
  • Liaising and interfacing with team members across departments in a collaborative approach to report on developments and deliver on cross-organizational initiatives.   
  • Writing, editing and publishing of a variety of marketing materials and communications, as needed.   
  • Overseeing of special projects and other responsibilities, when required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2  years of project management experience in a nonprofit, NGO, corporate or higher education environment.   
  • A proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams and managing projects and initiatives of varying scope.  
  • Advanced verbal and written communications, organization and time-management skills.  
  • A combination creative and analytical mindset.  
  • A strong eye for detail


  • Marketing, sales or administrative support experience.  
  • Experience working remotely as part of a team.   
  • Experience working in a start-up company, non-profit or entrepreneurial environment.   
  • Self-directed and disciplined with the ability to work independently in an ever-changing environment.
