Chadd Volunteer Roles

Social Media Representative

  • Oversee the website, meetup group and facebook page and group to determine what is needed.
  • Dialogue with members via the chat feature to welcome new members, get them to add a photo, keep rsvp’s up to date and follow up after meetings to check in for feedback.
  • Make regular posts on our group to generate friendly conversation and draw people out of their shells.
  • This role can be broken into smaller parts once the needs are determined and the responsibilities more established.

Resource Coordinator

  • Ongoing outreach to local and online resources that gear their services to the ADHD community.
  • Create a form email to let them know who we are and how we are looking to collaborate with them to help families get connected to needed services.
  • Create a list of affiliates from prior speaker events (Shivya)
  • Create a list of prospective speakers by category. Identify whether they accept insurance or offer low fees.

Speaker Liaison

  • Create guidelines for speakers asking for dates, topics, bios, etc. Ensure topic relevance and best timing.
  • Follow up with them to obtain any handouts and connect them to meetup. Track rsvp’s as the event approaches in case there isn’t a good turnout and the event needs to be rescheduled or canceled.
