ORGANIZATION: Residential Hospice

There are lots of volunteer opportunities on this site, so thank you for considering our request!

We are searching for people who are truly interested in making a difference in people’s lives. The simple act of presence and companionship can bring joy and comfort to a hospice patient and their family. Sharing time with another is mutually rewarding and is a highlight of the day for many of our patients. Sitting with a patient allows their loved ones a break in their routine and offers respite from the demanding roles that caregiving often requires. Just knowing there is another caring, compassionate person who visits regularly is a relief for the family and an opportunity to make a difference and matter in another’s world.

Volunteer orientation will be provided, and a supportive staff will welcome you to our team. Please consider making a lasting impact in your community as a Residential Hospice Volunteer!

Disclaimer: We are sorry, but we cannot accept any court ordered community service. Must be 18 years and older.

Other Requirements: Interview, completed application, drug screening, finger printing, proof of valid ID (State or Driver's License)
