The Key Skills of an IAOYM Volunteer:

• Solid interpersonal skills.
• Arrive on time for duty and ready to work.
• Eager to learn and work as part of a team.
• Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and pleasant demeanor while working to serve others.
• Understand your role and responsibilities as well as the rules and safety regulations of the organization while carrying out various tasks.
• Complete the relevant training and asking questions if you are uncertain.
• Complete all duties as assigned by the Team Lead and report any issues immediately.
• Make recommendations for improvement where feasible and appropriate.
• Communicate advance notice with the Team Lead or Leadership Team when you are running late or unable to fulfill your duties.

Preferred Skills But Not Required:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Great organizational skills.
• Understand and execute complex instructions.
• Expert computer and technical skills.
• Deliver presentations or reports if necessary.
