Help Feed The Hungry and Save Food From Landfills - Volunteer Drivers Needed to Pick Up Donations

Each year, millions of pounds of good food is thrown away and takes up space in landfills, while 11% of Americans are unsure where their next meal will come from. Food Rescue aims to reduce the amount of good food that goes into landfills and allows us to help feed our food-insecure clients.
We are now looking for volunteers that have reliable transportation and can lift up to 50 lbs to become part of our food rescue team! Food rescue is such a vital aspect of our food pantry and adds great variety to what we are able to give to our clients.

JFSA was founded in 1977 to provide essential and affordable social services to the community. JFSA's programs touch the lives of well over 5,000 people in Clark County each year. JFSA is a non-sectarian agency and is funded through private donations, fund-raising programs, and a number of grants. We are a member of the Association of Jewish Family and Children's Agencies (AJFCA) the umbrella association of more than 150 JFSAs in North America.
