Harbor Hospice is looking for volunteers for both the Dallas and Fort Worth offices. We are looking for people who can call patients, families, and facilities to make sure they are doing well. We are not able to send volunteers to see patients in person yet so we are sure this is the next best thing. If you would like to help with this please contact me and we will set you up. Harbor Hospice recognizes dying as part of the normal process of life and focuses on enhancing the quality of life for each of our patients and their families. We believe that through appropriate care and the promotion of sensitivity to the needs of the patients and families, we can physically, mentally, and spiritually prepare for death in a way that is satisfactory to our patients.

  • Orientation or Training
  • Each phone call could last as little as 5 minutes and goes up from there. Calls should be made Wednesdays or Thursdays so to update the team before the weekend.
  • This opportunity is to build rapport with our clients so we can improve what needs to be improved and provide what is needed in a timely manner.
