Volunteers are needed for the 2021 Relay For Life of Conejo Valley!! We are looking for people interested in being a part of a great cause in the Conejo Valley to join our Event Leadership Team to help us plan our event. Relay For Life of Conejo Valley is one of the signature fundraising events for the American Cancer Society (ACS) raising money for all the amazing programs and services ACS provides to cancer patients and their families throughout the diagnosis and treatment process.
Our event will take place in September and as we start planning for our event, we want your help to support the event planning process. Planning includes our September event in addition to fundraisers at restaurants and getting the word about our cause and event out in the community through handing out fliers and on social media! If you are interested in being a part of the event leadership team to plan the event, please let us know by inquiring through Volunteer Match, or by emailing us at recruiting@relaycv.org.
We have a variety of opportunities you can help with which include: fundraising, sponsorship, social media, marketing, accounting, working with team captains of teams, tabling at events in the community, entertainment and activities, silent auction (item solicitation and management), photography, graphic design, and more. If you have a special skill that you think would be helpful that is not mentioned here, please let us know!
We know time commitments can vary among everyone, so we can work with your schedule if you are interested in getting involved with our event planning. Based on what you are interested in helping with, we can talk about the amount of time you can commit. Even if you can only commit to a couple hours a week, that is totally okay too.
