Youth Action Services, Inc is a newly 501c3 nonprofit organization looking for a Volunteer Mental Health Manager to help YAS become a Mental Health Clinic under Article 31 where children who are enrolled within our program can receive Mental Health services. Once our newly nonprofit obtains funding, the Volunteer will become Youth Action Services, Inc’s full time Mental Health Manager with a yearly salary.
The primary responsibility of the Mental Health Manager is to establish YAS as a Mental Health Clinic where clinicians can provide clinical services to participants and their families through weekly individuals, family and psychotherapy sessions. Complete all clinical documentation to sustain the regulations and requirements outlined by the office of Mental Health. This role will also support in completing applications for grants, awards and certifications for the Mental Health department. Communicate the organization’s mission to outside agencies.
The ideal person should be working towards a Licensed Master degree in Social work.

Youth Action Services, Inc is a new 501c3 organization. Understanding Brooklyn, NY serves some of the cities poorest neighborhoods which includes high number of homelessness. I am pleased to introduce this new organization as it is the mission, duty, and purpose of You Action Services, Inc to address, educate, coordinate and provide tools to children who have been impacted by losing their home. The services we plan to provide include After-School program; mentoring program; summer day camp; and therapeutic services. We are connecting with professionals to help fulfill our mission and also taking necessary steps to become an outpatient clinic under article 31.
