Patient Care Volunteers are significant helpers for our terminally-ill patients and their families in their time of need. Patient Care Volunteers visit their assigned patient on hour a week to provide companionship, emotional comfort and family support. Volunteers mean so much to our patients and families. Our volunteers play avital role in our hospice program. From working in the office, to creating special projects at home, to visiting to provide companionship and ease loneliness, Good Shepherd Hospice Volunteers make special moments happen again and again for the patients and families we serve.
Our History - 25 Years of Comforting and Serving
Good Shepherd Hospice opened it's first office in Oklahoma City in 1995. We now have a regional presence serving Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas and Missouri. Along the way, we've touched the lives of more than 20,000 patients, and shepherded 50,000 + family members through their time of need. Every member of our team receives comprehensive, ongoing training. We are Medicare Certified and State Licensed.
